We work with academic, industry, and workforce partners across the country to provide professional development for biotechnology educators. Our longstanding ties to bioscience industry allow us to produce high quality, practical updates on biotechnology skills. For 20 years we have worked with community colleges, biotechnology industry, and workforce partners across the country to develop methods to create strong relationships and industry-driven projects. We have developed and updated skill standards in basic lab techniques, medical devices and biomanufacturing, and we created the Core Skills for Bioscience Technicians–all vetted by industry partners. Most recently we have partnered with industry to develop skill needs for technical workers in cell and gene therapy, regenerative medicine, and biomedical devices.

  • Help you understand the kinds of skilled technical workers needed by the bioscience industry.
  • Help you develop ideas for industry-vetted programs in professional development.
  • Help you develop relationships with employers and bio-trade associations.
  • Work together on collaborative projects that involve our analytical lab or expertise.
